Whale watching (Sept late Nov) Narooma is arguably one of the best whale watching areas on the east Coastt. Whales migrate north at the end of summer and during autumn to warmer waters to mate and give birth, on their return to Antarctica the males, the females and babies linger in the waters off Montague Island to feed on the plentiful supply of krill.

Montague Island Tours Montague Island, located just 9 kms off the Coastt Narooma is a National Parks and Wildlife Park famous for its lighthouse, seal colonies and penguins (Sept-Jan). Guilded tours on the Island are one of the highlights of visiting Narooma.
